Really good Dining Experience

During my stay, I was thoroughly impressed by the dining experience at Borrowdale. The hot breakfast was cooked to order with high-quality ingredients, including perfect scrambled eggs, great bacon, and delicious sausage. Dinner was even better, with a daily changing menu that kept things fresh and exciting. Each dish was imaginative and perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive and made sure that everything flowed seamlessly throughout our meal.

Convenient Guest Parking

I appreciated the ample guest parking available at the Borrowdale. Being able to park easily and know my car was secure made a huge difference. It allowed me to enjoy my stay without worrying about my vehicle, and I didn’t need to use it much because there were so many trails to explore right from the hotel.

Spacious and Clean Rooms

I stayed in a Prestige Room, and it was absolutely good. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-appointed. I loved the views of the fells and Derwentwater. The super king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, which enhanced my restful nights. It was nice to have a cozy space to unwind after a day of hiking.
